Target Practical Shooting Competition Evening

EVENT RULES

  1. All players must wear adequate eye protection minimum. Additional protection optional. Standard game day rules apply during event.
  2. Players can use any pistol or rifle for each round.
  3. All pistols or rifles must be semi-auto. Full auto is strictly forbidden.
  4. It is the players responsibility to ensure that all equipment (Gun, Magazine etc) is ready before the start of each round.
  5. Players will be given designated time slots. Players must be present and ready at designated times or will score 0 points in that round. (Players will be called a maximum of two times. Be present & ready to compete!)
  6. All Players are responsible for own equipment failures/malfunctions. No time extensions will be granted to repair/mend faulty equipment.
  7. Players are responsible for controlling the number of shots fired in each round, reloading magazines is permitted.
  8. Players are expected to always behave responsibly and keep safety and other players welfare paramount. Failure to comply with any directions given by Marshals may result in disqualification from the event.
  9. The event organiser reserves the right to cancel the event if a minimum of 20 participants fail to confirm Booking.
  10. Any Comments, questions & suggestions should be submitted to the event organiser PRIOR to the event.
  11. All players must read and understand all event rules prior to booking.

16:00 – Sign in & brief
16:30 – Round 1
17:15 – BREAK
17:30 – Round 2
18:15 – BREAK
18:30 – Round 3
19:10 – Results & prizes

ROUND TYPES & RULES

ROUND 1 – TARGET PRACTISE

Targets will light up one by one and will stay on until the target times out. There are no green targets and targets stay on for an even amount of time each.

ROUND 2 – TIME TRIAL

Shoot as many targets as possible in quick succession over a set time. Targets will stay illuminated until shot. The round is scored on number of targets successfully shot over allotted time.

ROUND 3 – REACTION TEST

Targets will light up one by one with the next target lighting once either shot or timed out. The time between each targets decreases as round progresses. Only red targets should be shot. Avoid hitting the green targets which have a 25% chance of appearing.
